The Asset Management team recently concluded a competitive European O&M tender, boosting the total NPV of the Solar PV assets by up to 9%. Previously, Sab was working with Syzygy Renewables in London as a Project Engineer and Asset Manager managing the deployment and operation of solar PV plants for some of UK and Europe's largest REITs, Pension Funds and Listed companies like Land Securities, British Land and Aviva Investors. Dr S.Kapellos is a graduate of the Chemical Department of the University of Athens (UOA), Greece (1986). In 1991 he received his PhD on the field of Physical Chemistry from the same Institution. The research was a collaboration between UOA and the Michigan State University (MSU) Physical Chemistry Teams. In 1993 he was hired by BP Hellas SA as Chemist in the Perama Lubricants and Fuels Quality Control Chemical Laboratory. Since then he had the opportunity to be positioned at various managerial posts within the BP Hellas Organization: Quality, Health, Safety and Environment, Human Resources, Customer Services, Pricing and Credit. In 2004 he moves to Northern Greece as Retail Fuels District Manager North.

In 2007 when BP Solar is established, Dr. S.Kapellos is appointed as the leader (CEO) of the new organization, in order to setup the new business.

In 2010 he moves to ELPE Renewables (100% owned by ELPE Group), developing and managing the Renewables portfolio of the Hellenic Petroleum Group. He currently holds the position of the Operation and Development Director of the company, being at the same time BoD member. Τhe current RES portfolio of ELPE Renewables is 130 MW of photovoltaic projects and 25 MW Biomass, of which 10 MW PV in operation and another 9 MW PV project under construction. A 6.8 MW wind park was acquired in 2013.

Dr.S.Kapellos has published several scientific articles in international magazines during his academic career. He has written a number of articles on subjects related to Safety, Hygiene and Environment and in the last years on Solar Technology and Energy Policy for newspapers, relevant magazines and e-media.

Since 2008, he has been an elected member of the board of the Hellenic (Greek) Association of PV companies (HELAPCO) and since April 2013 Chairman of the board of the Association.

Following this, Marco worked at Transdev-Veolia, focused on business and asset management for Light Rail networks in Europe.
In 2010 he became founder and global Head of Martifer Solar´s O&M and Service Business, driving the strategic direction while leading a team of more than 100 employees, where he became Executive Committee Member as the representative of O&M and, accumulated with the responsibility of leading the EPC global business in 2015, until leaving the company in 2017. Martifer Solar operated in more than 20 countries as a global reputed Developer, EPC turnkey provider and one of the most relevant O&M Global Service providers for Solar assets.
In 2018 he co-founded and integrated as General Manger the company MTX Solar - a provider of innovative solutions and services for the players of the solar industry, with own competences for the whole chain of value of Solar, present in two continents.
Marco received his MSC in Electrical Engineering and completed an Executive MBA in Management from University of Porto Business School/IE Madrid. He speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish, with a working proficiency in the French language.

Lorena has almost 20 years experience in financial services as a principal investor, asset manager and investment banker. Lorena joined NEC Group in 2018 as the Head of Debt Finance.

Between 2007 and 2015, she headed the renewable energy team at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporations where she positioned the bank as the global mandated leading arrangers of renewable energy. Her team originated and executed more than 40 transactions for a total asset value of US$13bn across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Prior to SMBC, Lorena was head of the project finance team at Veolia Water Italy for five years from 2001. She was in charge of the development and asset management of IPP projects in the water sector supporting the successful awarding of a number of water management concessions and project financed a total value of circa US$5bn.

She worked as senior economist for the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe in Geneva and the Argentine Embassy in Rome from 1995 to 1999. During this time she lectured microeconomics at Link University in Rome.

Lorena Ciciriello was born in Argentina and educated in Europe. She received a BA (Hons) in Finance from the Hertfordshire University and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics Lorena is a Board Member of Next Energy Foundation and the founding trustee of the Skills for Life Trust.
