Mr. Stefan Müller is the Co-founder, shareholder of Enerparc AG and since end of 2008 as a board member responsible for the international and operational business. After his diploma theses in 1992 in Solar Energy he gained international experiences in different roles for international companies in various countries and was based in India and Singapore. Enerparc is an international specialist in the whole value chain of large-scale photovoltaic power plants, has 150 experienced employees with offices in Germany, India, US and a number of registered partners (Ukraine, Jordan, Egypt, Belarus and others).

Claus Wattendrup is heading the solar and battery business at Vattenfall and is developing, building and operating large-scale as well as decentralized solar and battery assets. Before that Claus founded two companies and had several management positions, among others leading the renewable business development activities of Vattenfall, heading the development of two large offshore wind farms and building up a digital platform business as well as working as a management and M&A consultant.

Kareen is responsible for all operational and project execution at Lightsource globally. Berto Martins is currently Director for Electricity Markets at EDP S.A. He is 52 years old, born and raised in Lisbon but with an academic degree completed at the Oporto University in 1990.
In this same year, joined EDP to work at the National Dispatch for the Electric System and after some years moved to the System Optimization and Commercial Operations Division until 2002.
When the liberalization process of the energy sector started in Portugal he moved to the team that created the Energy Management Division at EDP, implementing IT and business procedures for all Trading activities.

EDP´s Electricity Markets Division is responsible for the management of the whole generation portfolio in the Iberian Market. Besides real-time optimization, these tasks includes also Short/Medium Term Planning, Outages coordination, Bidding strategies on both Energy and Ancillary Services markets and real-time coordination with the Portuguese TSO.

Since May 2017 Luca Matrone is the Global Head of the Energy industry in the Corporate & Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, with the coverage responsibility for both the Power & Utility and the Oil & Gas sectors. Previously he headed the Energy M&A team in Banca IMI, the investment bank of Intesa Sanpaolo group, leading the main M&A transactions completed by the bank. Luca coordinated several M&A and financing transactions in the solar space for clients such as Enel, F2i, Tages, NextEnergy Capital, ERG, Aristhon Thermo, Viridis, Maccaferri Group. He joined Banca IMI in 2000. Luca graduated in business administration from Bocconi University in Milan.

Giovanni Terranova is a founder of the Investment Adviser and is one of the three managing partners. He is an energy finance specialist having worked in banking, advisory and private equity since 2000, with a particular focus on energy and renewables since 2005.

Giovanni has participated in the funding of over €8.3 billion of energy transactions globally. He has been involved in more than €1.3 billion of UK and European solar energy transactions at, and prior to founding, Bluefield. Giovanni has played a leading role in BSIF strategy since its IPO, with a focus on portfolio management and leading on the portfolio financing facilities closed by BSIF with major institutional lenders in excess of €475 million.

His previous responsibilities include investment director at Foresight Group, taking a leading role in the project financing of the solar energy portfolio for the Foresight European Solar Fund. It was at Foresight that Giovanni first worked with the other founding partners of Bluefield, James Armstrong and Mike Rand. Giovanni previously worked in the Energy Group at Fortis Bank where he focussed on renewable energies and was instrumental in establishing the bank’s competence centre in solar energy.

Giovanni has served as board member of various solar energy companies in Italy and UK.

Giovanni has presented at a number of international renewable energy conferences and published research on the solar energy sector in 1998. In the same year, he worked on solar at the Italian energy research centre ENEA in Rome.

Giovanni has as MBA from Luiss School of Management, Rome, and an MSc in Power Engineering.

Peter is Director, Active Ownership and covers the consumer staples, healthcare and chemicals sector as engagement specialist. He engages with companies on their contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals and looks at Reducing Global Waste and SDG 12.4 in particular when it comes to solar waste. Peter gained over four years of professional experience in business development in frontier markets before joining Robeco in 2011. Peter holds a master's degree in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University with a minor in Entrepreneurship.

Jewgeni has more than 10 years of experience in the energy and finance industry. He started his career consulting banks and financial institutions at PwC and joined the energy industry in 2009 as Senior Manager for Energy Trading & Risk Management at Vattenfall and Gazprom. Between 2015 and 2018 Jewgeni was CFO of Dornier Consulting International, an Airbus group technology consulting company focusing worldwide on Infrastructure, Mobility and Environment. Since 2018 he joined saferay as Group CFO being responsible for Accounting, Controlling, Cash Management, Finance and HR. In his role at saferay Jewgeni is furthermore involved in the development of new renewable energy business models.

Jewgeni holds a degree in business administration from the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht in Berlin, Germany and a MBA in Energy Management from the International School of Management in Dortmund, Germany.

Gerard Reid has over two decades’ experience in equity research and fund management in the energy area. He is also a leading energy expert and lecturer, author and monthly columnist for BIZZ energy today, the German energy industry publication. Prior to founding Alexa Capital, he was Managing Director and Head of European Cleantech Research at the US investment bank Jefferies & Co. Before joining Jefferies, Gerard managed a renewable energy fund. He has broad relationships across the institutional and private investor communities as well as amongst government policy makers, utilities and technology providers to the energy area. Gerard has been teaching in the university in Berlin for the last decade. Gerard holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree as well as a Higher Diploma in Education from Trinity College Dublin.
